Some clients require minimal adjustment, while others may need a little more refinement depending on their skin and previous history.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

To ensure the best possible results, there are a few simple things to avoid before your appointment.

Please avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as fish oil or aspirin) for at least 24 hours prior, as these can increase sensitivity and bleeding.

It’s also important to pause brow growth serums in the lead-up to your appointment, as they can make the skin more reactive and affect how the pigment is retained.

If you’ve had any previous cosmetic tattooing, recent Botox or injectable treatments, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have any medical considerations (including medications you’re unable to stop or treatments such as chemotherapy), please let us know at least 48 hours before your appointment.

We do work with clients in many of these situations — we simply need to assess things properly and may adjust the timing or approach to ensure the safest and best outcome.

Come to your appointment with minimal or no brow makeup if possible, and allow time for a relaxed, unrushed experience. We’ll guide you through everything on the day — this is simply to give your skin the best chance to heal beautifully.

Why is there sometimes a wait for cosmetic tattoo appointments in Canberra?

Cosmetic tattooing is a highly specialised treatment. It is not something to rush or choose based on convenience alone. Most of our clients come to us specifically for soft, natural brow tattoo results that heal beautifully over time, and that level of care takes time and attention.

Our techniques are based on modern methods developed overseas, where the cosmetic tattoo industry is more advanced than what is typically available in Australia. Because of this, many of our clients travel to our Canberra studio from interstate to access this level of work.

We are very intentional about how many appointments we take on so that every client receives a detailed and considered approach. This means appointments for brow tattooing and cosmetic tattoo services in Canberra can book out ahead of time.

We do keep a waitlist, and occasionally appointments become available sooner if there are changes, so it is always worth reaching out.
