APPOINTMENTS & DEPOSITS
All appointment requests made via our website, phone, or messaging platforms are considered tentative until confirmed by Invisible Ink Studio and a non-refundable deposit has been received.

A non-refundable booking fee of between $100 and $450 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This booking fee:

• Secures your appointment time exclusively
• Is deducted from the total cost of your service
• Is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, illness, emergencies, travel issues, late arrival, or failure to attend

This policy is standard industry practice and ensures we can allocate time, staff, and resources specifically for your booking.

All prices listed on this website are subject to change without notice.

Accepted payment methods include card payments (card surcharge applies), bank transfer, or cash.
 

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

To respect our artists’ time and other clients, the following cancellation and rescheduling policy applies.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

If you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment, your non-refundable booking fee may be transferred once to a future appointment date, provided the new appointment occurs within 12 months of the original booking date. The booking fee cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
 

- If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, your booking fee is forfeited in full and cannot be transferred.
- Failure to attend your appointment without notice (no-show) will result in the full forfeiture of your booking fee and may result in additional charges up to the full service amount.

Invisible Ink Studio reserves the right to refuse future bookings following repeated late cancellations or no-shows.

 

ARRIVAL TIMES & LATE ARRIVALS

Clients are required to arrive 15 minutes early to their scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and preparation. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, your appointment will be cancelled and treated as a late cancellation or no-show. In this case, the booking fee will be forfeited and the full appointment fee may still apply.

Due to the precision and safety requirements of cosmetic and paramedical tattooing, punctuality is essential and late arrivals cannot always be accommodated.

 

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please arrive at your appointment without makeup on the treatment area.

To minimise bleeding and ensure optimal healing, please avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and caffeine prior to your appointment. Excessive bleeding can negatively affect results and may require additional sessions at the client’s expense. For health and safety reasons, children are not permitted in the treatment room.

 

CLIENT CONDUCT & BEHAVIOUR

Invisible Ink Studio is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both clients and staff.

Aggressive, rude, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or other clients will not be tolerated.

Invisible Ink Studio reserves the right to immediately cancel or terminate an appointment if such behaviour occurs. In these circumstances, the booking fee will be forfeited, the remaining balance of the appointment may still be charged, and the client may be refused future bookings. This policy applies to behaviour in person, over the phone, via email, messaging platforms, or social media.

 

PERMANENT MAKEUP RESULTS, SESSIONS & MAINTENANCE

Cosmetic and paramedical tattooing is a process, not a one-off treatment.

Most permanent makeup procedures generally require a minimum of two sessions to achieve optimal results. In some cases, additional sessions may be required, and in other cases fewer sessions may be needed. This varies between clients and depends on factors including skin type, skin condition, health, lifestyle, previous cosmetic tattooing, pigment retention, and aftercare.

Each appointment is charged individually. Touch-up appointments are not included in the initial service price.

Initial touch-up appointments must be booked within 8 weeks of the original appointment date. Touch-ups booked outside this timeframe may be treated as a new appointment and charged at the current full price.

Clients with previous cosmetic tattooing may require correction work or laser tattoo removal before optimal results can be achieved. Additional fees may apply and will be discussed prior to proceeding.

Permanent makeup results cannot be guaranteed. Outcomes depend heavily on individual healing responses, health factors, skin behaviour, and adherence to aftercare instructions. Invisible Ink Studio does not offer refunds based on pigment retention, healed colour outcome, or personal preference.

While results cannot be guaranteed, Invisible Ink Studio always acts in the client’s best interest and strives to achieve the most natural and appropriate result possible using professional judgement.

 

LONGEVITY & ANNUAL TOUCH-UPS

Permanent makeup is designed to fade gradually over time.

Most clients require maintenance or annual touch-up appointments every 1 to 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routines, and pigment choice. To qualify for annual touch-up pricing, clients must meet both of the following conditions:

• A minimum of 40% pigment retention must be present
• The touch-up appointment must be booked within 24 months of the client’s last appointment

If pigment retention falls below this threshold or more than 24 months have passed, the appointment will be treated as a full new set and charged at full pricing rather than touch-up rates.

Assessment of pigment retention and eligibility for touch-up pricing is determined by Invisible Ink Studio.

 

PROMOTIONS, EMAIL OFFERS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

Any promotional offers are subject to specific terms and conditions.

The $50 email subscription offer can only be redeemed on full-priced services.

No promotions or offers can be used in conjunction with already discounted, promotional, sale, model, or special-rate services. Invisible Ink Studio reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES, PROMOTIONS & MODEL BOOKINGS

Gift certificates, promotions, and prizes must be redeemed before the expiry date stated.

Gift certificates and prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable without written consent from Invisible Ink Studio. Resale is prohibited.

Gift certificates, promotions, and prizes cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. Some promotions may not be valid for interstate clients.

The 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all gift certificate and promotional bookings.

Cancellations within 48 hours will result in 50% of the gift certificate value being forfeited.

No-shows will result in 100% of the gift certificate value being forfeited.

Model bookings are not eligible to use promotions or gift certificates.

 

CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Refunds are not provided for change of mind.

 

AGREEMENT

By booking an appointment with Invisible Ink Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions outlined above, including the non-refundable booking fee, arrival time requirements, client conduct policy, permanent makeup treatment process, and cancellation terms.
